Hello, I'm MoggyMade, a.k.a. Penny.
I've always loved making things.
Today I create playful cat-themed seamless patterns in Procreate on my iPad, but my creativity doesn't stop there. I also love sketching by hand, experimenting with traditional drawing techniqes, knitting little animals and toys, and trying new creative hobbies whenever inspiration strikes.
This website is my creative home - a place where I can share everything I'm learning along the way.
My Creative Journey
I'm not a professionally trained artist, I'm learning... and that's exactly why I wanted to start documenting my journey. Every sketch teaches me something new. Some days everything works, and other days I wonder what happened! I hope sharing both sides encourages other people who are learning too.
And, it's never too late... I didn't start on this drawing journey until in my mid-50's!

Another Creative Passion: Writing
While many people know me through my cat-themed patterns and illustrations, storytelling has been part of my creative life for many years. I also write novels under my pen name, Penny Canvin, where I get to explore characters and imaginary worlds in a completely different way.
